Gmail

Connect Gmail to search project correspondence and prepare replies.

What it can do

• Search threads and read their messages.
• List labels and saved drafts.
• Create drafts for you to review and send from Gmail.
• Apply or remove labels on messages and threads.

Setup and security

• You sign in with your own Google account. Assistant can reach only that mailbox.
• Tools that change data ask for approval before they run. The Approval column under Supported tools shows each tool's setting.
• Nomic cannot send email through this server. Drafts stay in Gmail until you send them.
• Until Google approves Nomic's app, signing in shows a Google MCP access requires whitelisting dialog. Email support@nomic.ai to have your account whitelisted for all Google MCP servers.
• This server is separate from the Gmail integration under Settings → Integrations. Connecting one does not connect the other.
