SharePoint
When SharePoint is connected to Nomic, Assistant can search and reason over documents stored in the sites your admin has synced. You only see files you have access to in SharePoint.
What Assistant Can Access
Assistant has access to:
- Documents and PDFs — Full text content for search and reference
- File metadata — Names, creators, and modification dates
- Folder structure — How files are organized in document libraries
Your admin selects which SharePoint sites and document libraries to sync. Assistant respects SharePoint permissions—you only get answers from files you can access.
What You Can Do
With SharePoint context, you can ask Assistant to:
- Search past projects — "Find similar approaches we used on the Riverside project"
- Reference firm standards — "What does our standard spec say about waterproofing?"
- Compare documents — "How does this submittal differ from the spec?"
- Find specific details — "Where do we specify the fire rating for this assembly?"
SharePoint is a file storage integration. If your firm uses SharePoint without ACC or Bentley, your admin may tag files to associate them with specific projects or workflows. Tagged files enable Active Project Research, Code Compliance, and Automated Submittal Review.
