When an ACC project is linked to a Nomic project, Assistant automatically has access to all project files—drawings, specifications, submittals, and documentation. No tagging required. Files sync as they're added or updated in ACC.
What Assistant Can Access
Assistant has access to:
- Drawing sheets — Individual sheets from project drawings
- PDFs and documents — Specifications, submittals, and project documentation
- Project metadata — Project structure and file organization
You only see files from ACC projects you have access to. Assistant stays in sync with ACC—new and updated files are indexed automatically.
What You Can Do
With ACC context, you can:
- Ask project questions — "What's the wall thickness on Level 2?" or "Show me all fire rating requirements"
- Check code compliance — Use Code Compliance mode to verify drawings against building codes
- Review submittals — Run the Automated Submittal Review workflow to compare submittals against specs and drawings
- Research across the project — Active Project Research lets you search and compare across all project data
- Compare drawing versions — "What changed between revision 2 and revision 3?"
RFI Automation
Assistant can automatically respond to RFIs in ACC. When enabled, it analyzes project drawings, specifications, and documentation to provide cited answers—helping you respond to contractor questions faster.
