Context Sources
Procore
Connect Procore to work with project-management records on Procore projects already synced into Nomic.
Private preview
Procore is in private preview and may not be enabled for your organization. Contact Nomic support if it is not listed under Settings → MCPs.
What it can do
- List the synced Procore projects you can use, and the people in a project's Directory.
- Read RFIs with their questions and responses, submittals with their approval workflow, punch items, and observations.
- Post a reply to an RFI as you.
Setup and security
- An organization administrator must set up the Procore integration, sync the project, and add Nomic's callback URL to the Procore app. See Procore in Assistant.
- You sign in with your own Procore account, through your organization's Procore app. Nomic never uses the integration's service account for your requests.
- Tools reach only synced projects whose files you can open in Nomic, which means your Procore user must be in the project's Directory under your Nomic email. A linked Nomic project is not required. Procore's permissions for your account still apply to every read and reply.
- RFI replies ask for approval before they run. The Approval column under Supported tools shows each tool's setting.
- The Nomic agent cannot create or change RFIs, submittals, punch items, or observations, and cannot attach files. Documents and drawings are not read through this server; the Procore integration syncs them into Nomic, where the Nomic agent searches them directly.
- If an administrator changes the Procore app's client ID or secret in Nomic, sign in to Procore again.
- Add Procore from the marketplace. Its server cannot be added through Custom MCP.
To connect, see Add an MCP server.
Example requests
- "Which Procore projects can I access?"
- "List the open RFIs on the Harbor project and who has the ball in court."
- "Summarize submittal 03 30 00-2 and its approval workflow."
- "Show overdue punch items on level 3."
- "Reply to RFI 14 saying the revised detail is attached in the drawing set."
