Trimble ProjectSight

When a Trimble ProjectSight project is connected to a Nomic project, Nomic syncs its project content so the Nomic agent can search, reference, and work with it. Trimble ProjectSight is a Business and Enterprise integration — Individual plan users upload files instead.

What the Nomic agent can access

Nomic syncs:

  • Drawings — ProjectSight drawings are imported as PDFs.
  • Trimble Connect content — For projects that use Trimble Connect as their file management system, Nomic syncs the whole linked Trimble Connect project, including folders, files, and file versions. It appears in a Trimble Connect Library folder and can include files that aren't shown in ProjectSight's File Library view.

Nomic reflects the ProjectSight project membership and Trimble Connect folder access that the connected account can read. Users only see synced content that they have permission to access. Access is matched by email, so you only get access in Nomic if your Nomic email matches your ProjectSight or Trimble Connect email.

ProjectSight's native File Library is not currently synced because ProjectSight does not provide the folder-permission information Nomic needs to safely make that content available. Drawings continue to sync for these projects.

Trimble ProjectSight MCP

The Trimble ProjectSight MCP server lets the Nomic agent read issues, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and other records on imported projects. With your approval, it can create or update issues, punch-list items, and RFIs, create submittals and daily reports, and post submittal reviews. It requires this integration.

Get started

An organization admin connects a ProjectSight administrator or dedicated integration account from Admin → Integrations → Trimble ProjectSight. The account must have access to the portfolios and projects you want to sync.

After setup, select the discovered projects to synchronize. You can create a Nomic project from a synchronized ProjectSight project at any time. See Configure Trimble ProjectSight for the full setup steps.
