Plans
Nomic has two product paths: Individual (self-serve) and organization plans (Business and Enterprise). They are billed and administered separately.
If you sign in at <org>.drive.nomic.ai, you are on Business or Enterprise — not Individual.

Individual
Self-serve at app.nomic.ai. Use a company email (personal inbox providers are not accepted).
You get a personal workspace: uploads, Assistant, workflows, and projects. There is no Admin, SSO, live integrations, or inviting teammates.
A trial includes $20 of AI usage. Individual is $20/mo and includes $20/mo. Unused monthly usage expires at period end. Leftover trial usage rolls into on-demand when you subscribe.
When included usage runs out:
- Trial — upgrade in Settings → Billing
- Paid — buy on-demand usage ($20 / $50 / $100) or turn on auto-refresh in Settings → Billing
In-flight runs finish. New Assistant turns, workflow runs, and indexing pause until usage is available.

Business and Enterprise
Organization instances at <org>.drive.nomic.ai. Use these when a firm needs shared projects, SSO, Admin, and live integrations.

If you were invited by your firm, stay on your organization URL — do not create an Individual account for company work.

How much does $20 in AI usage buy?
Approximate, on the default model (Claude Sonnet 4.6). Actual cost depends on context size, tool calls, and response length.

What happens at the limit?
- Individual — New AI work pauses until you upgrade or buy more. Manage this in Settings → Billing.
- Business / Enterprise — New AI work pauses when a per-user cap or the org pool is exhausted. Members request an increase from Settings → Usage; admins act in Admin → Requests. See Spend caps.
