Review and export drawing findings
A drawing review is a first-pass aid. Treat each row in the findings table as something to verify before you push it into your project delivery system. Nomic tracks review state; Autodesk Forma and Fieldwire remain the source of truth for coordination work after export.
Review the findings table
Start with the issue list. For each finding, check:
- Page or sheet and citation
- Severity and discipline
- Description and standard reference
- Whether the markup on the PDF points at the right condition
Use severity to triage, but open the cited sheet before you accept or export a finding.
Finding status in Nomic
Each finding moves through a simple lifecycle. You control it from the ⋯ menu on each row.

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | The workflow added the finding; a reviewer has not validated it yet. |
| Accepted | A human confirmed the finding is real. Export is enabled. |
| Exported | The finding was pushed to Autodesk Forma or Fieldwire (issue, task, or RFI). |
| Addressed | Closed in Nomic because the design already reflects the fix. History and citations stay in the table. |
| Ignored | Noise or not useful; hidden from the active list and review metrics. |
Reopen returns an addressed or ignored finding to Accepted so you can export or continue review.
Nomic does not use “resolve” or “dismiss.” Use Mark as addressed or Ignore finding instead. After export, track resolution in the connected platform—not in Nomic.
Export to Autodesk Forma or Fieldwire
Export is available when a finding is Accepted or Exported (for example, to create a second export type). Findings in New must be accepted first.
Open ⋯ → Export to Autodesk or Export to Fieldwire:

Each option includes short helper text in the menu. After a successful export, the finding status becomes Exported and you can Open the item in the external system from the same menu.
Exported findings include title, description, severity, discipline, and citation context in the external item. Attachment upload to the external system is not included in the current release.
Requirements:
- The cited drawing must come from a project synced through the Autodesk Forma or Fieldwire integration.
- You need permission to modify the drawing review table in Nomic.

Export from Nomic (PDF and spreadsheet)
You can still download review outputs without pushing to a delivery platform:
- Annotated PDF — Marked-up sheets (Bluebeam-compatible callouts)
- Excel or JSON — Full findings table for QA logs or spreadsheets
